As anyone who has repaired trail damage and replaced sheet metal on a Jeep will tell you, it's not a big deal to replace a fender, the hood, or a door since they were meant to unbolt anyways. The body tub technically can be unbolted from everything and replaced; however it is bolted toeverythingfrom the frame, to your steering, brakes and electrical harnesses. The good news is you can now protect and strengthen the largest and most integral piece of sheet metal you have with our rear corner armor.
Unlike previous Wranglers, the JL really has some curves, so we've done everything we can to wrap tightly around them with this corner armor. About the only thing they won't protect on the corner is the tail lights themselves. We've had our fair share of cracked, broken, and even water collecting JL tail lamps at this point and recommend our upcoming JL/JLUHD Replacement Tail Lampsto go along with these corners.HD Replacement tail lamps arenot included.
Drilling of the body tub/sheetmetal and placement of 1/4"-20 "rivnuts" are required for installation on many of the mounting locations as they are not easily accessed from the backside/inside. Some can be accessed on the backside via the fuel door or tail lamp cutouts.
These are designed, laser cut, precision CNC formed, and finish welded with pride in the USA.
These ship direct from our location in Grand Junction, Colorado via UPS unless requested otherwise. Please call or email ahead if you would like to arrange for local pickup.
