2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU
In 2006, with DaimlerChrylser at the helm of Jeep, the first 4 door Jeep Wrangler was introduced as the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JKU) along side the new 2 door Jeep Wrangler (JK.) With that introduction, we have seen more 4 door Jeeps hit the trails then ever.
From 2007 to 2011, the JK and JKU were offered with a 3.8 liter engine not ideally suited for rock crawling or turning bigger tires in stock form. In the 2012, the JK and JKU received the new 3.6 Pentastar powerplant with great joy from the Jeep community.
