JL/JT Aluminum Front Inner Fender Liner
The Details
The factory black plastic "splash guards" you'll find in the front wheel openings of your JL and JT can leave a bit to be desired. Our new front inner fender liners are designed to work with our aluminum front fender flares - though they can be installed independently if desired.
Quick accessibility to the engine bay for maintenance is possible thanks to 1/4 turn "dzus" fasteners. Having wired up a few lights, winches, and performing upgrades to our steering system have taught us the benefits of that quick, wide open access through the inner fender areas of our JL and JT.
Vents on both sides allow heat to escape the engine bay near the top of each inner fender liner, to help make up for those larger tires and extra gear on big climbs. The laser cut honeycomb pattern is small enough to keep rocks and most debris out while allowing for airflow.
These are laser cut, CNC formed and hand welded from 0.09" thick 5052-H32 Aluminum; a bit thicker then most 0.06" panels on the market, to give them a bit of extra rigidity. Installation does require drilling, but thanks to the rigidity of the panels and mounting locations on the body, these are entirely body mounted and do not require any fasteners or brackets to be tied into the frame rails of your JL; allowing your body mounts to flex properly without putting any load on your fender liners.
We have been collecting 3D scan data from multiple Jeeps over the past couple of years and have CAD designed these inner fender liners to fit as closely as possible to what sits in your engine bay -- whether your JL or JT is a 3.6 V6, 2.0 Turbo, 392 Hemi, EcoDiesel, or even 4xE -- allowing us to retain as much tire clearance and suspension up travel as possible!
Please note, that the EcoDiesel and 392 models have a large factory wiper fluid reservoir that does eat up a lot of tire clearance -- both with factory "splash guards" and any aftermarket inner fender liner that retains the factory reservoir. If you remove or relocate this reservoir, you can use the higher clearance version of the inner fender liner that is used for the 3.6/2.0 gas models and make a lot more room for 38" and larger tires without complications from rubbing or limiting suspension up-travel.

Our team got into the game after rock crawling, wrenching, fabricating and being inspired to design and build parts for what we love to do: hit the trail.
