Want something impact resistant and slippery to help your Jeep slide over obstacles? We've got you covered. The UHMW material we have selected for this kit isn't just any plastic -- it is known for its very low coefficient of friction (it's comparable to Teflon®), high abrasion/wear resistance (10 times more resistant to abrasion than carbon steel), natural lubrication, and high impact strength.

These UHMW pieces are CNC cut to precisely match our JLU Aluminum Belly Skids. This kit includes enough UHMW to cover the entirety of our skid plate system on the bottom, and the additional hardware you'll need to attach it.

Currently available in the listed configurations, we are also working on JT Diesel, JT Gladiator, and 2 Door JL applications.

Just love this and the low weight combined with UHWM plastic is amazing.

High Quality Skids

So it starts with the packaging to understand the pride NVM has in their products. Never and I mean never have I had parts delivered that were packed so well and with so much care. That should be all you need to know on what I found inside. The welds and mounting were perfect. I love the light weight of the aluminum but clearly there is no sacrifice with strength. I do recommend getting the UHMW kit with it, or it could be a bit of work to get it on later. It all came assembled for me and I checked for loose hardware and found none.

Slick and smooth

I have not yet had the opportunity to try them on the rocks although during assembly I slid the skid across the concrete and it seemed to move smooth I’ve had steel skids and plain aluminum skids and they are Grindy and loud sounding across rocks and concrete the UHMW material will be great as long as it can stay against skid during drags and bumps but I won’t be working them that hard mostly thanks

392 Skids w UHMW

Skids work great, the UHMW lets it slide of the rocks when otherwise you would be high centered. Installation was straight forward with a few pieces of missing hardware I got a local bolt supply store.

Buy them!

The UHMW is awesome, slick stuff. I don't know if it cushions a little, but today I set down hard on my new skids.

The wife's face twisted I had to get out for a look. As I pulled through a rock garden she covered her ears expecting a huge squeeze and me to fight the rocks.

I slid right over them, and couldn't even hear a squeak over my diesel clattering.

It's well worth the investment!
