LJ Rear Corner Armor
Our LJ Rear Corner Armor is precision-formed from 3/16" thick aluminum to provide your Jeep's tub with robust protection on the trail. These can be ordered to match up with your factory wheel openings and factory tail lamps -- or they can be optioned as "blanks" for wheelbase stretches and aftermarket tail lamp and fuel filler options so you can use these as a blank canvas!
As anyone who has repaired trail damage and replaced sheet metal on a Jeep will tell you, it's not a big deal to replace a fender, the hood, or a door since they were meant to unbolt anyways. The body tub technically can be unbolted from everything and replaced; however, it is bolted to everything from the frame, to your steering, brakes, and electrical harnesses. You can now protect and strengthen the largest and most integral piece of sheet metal on your LJ with our Rear Corner Armor set.
Product Details
Drilling of the body tub/ sheet metal is required for installation! Rivnuts may required in a few locations depending on what other modifications your LJ might have collected over the years. Most mounting locations can be accessed from the backside freely however. Please note that license plate mounting holes and fender flare mounting holes are not present in either configuration -- giving you the option to relocate your license plate and delete your fender flares without having any extra holes. They can however be drilled easily in the aluminum if desired.

Products are designed and fabricated to fit vehicles that have varying tolerances from the factory, minor hand fitting may be required.
Products are shipped bare metal unless otherwise specified by the customer. Bare metal products may have scratches or surface imperfections as a result of raw material handling, manufacturing, and fabrication. However, these imperfections are easily covered up with a textured powder coat finish. Additional finishing, sanding, and prep work may be required if you wish to also have them finished with a smooth powder coat or paint.
