If you're going to really get out on the trails or off in the desert -- there's nothing that will change the rhythm of your day quite like losing your rear shocks. These shock skid plates are designed to give a smooth ramp up and over obstacles while also protecting your rear shocks. The rear shocks on the Ford Bronco are some of the lowest hanging fruit on the entire vehicle for trail and desert obstacles to catch on -- since they are mounted in front of the axle housing, and hang down lower then anything else on the axle. These not only protect the front of the shock, but fully cover the bottom and wrap up and around at the departure to allow protection if you find yourself backing up and over something that might otherwise find your shocks.

These skid plates are laser cut from 1/4" thick high strength HRPO steel, and CNC formed for a precision fit. Installation does not require removal of the rear shocks and uses existing holes and additional provided hardware to attach. These skid plates are sold as a pair of left and right skids that ship bare metal and will require painting or coating unless ordered otherwise.

These shock skids were designed to work with stock suspension. Will not work with Hoss 3.0 or 4.0 options.

Hi quality product. Easy to install

great product

These skids are well designed and built. They will definitely provide a lot of protection. Unfortunately, they are not compatible with the Fox shocks that come with HOSS 3.0 package. The skid at the bottom of the reservoir gets in the way. I have to do some cutting to get them to work.

Heavy duty

Installed these shock skids on my '22 Wildtrak. These are very heavy duty pieces. Install was very easy. I never removed the tires, just lay on a creeper underneath and it took me a few minutes a side.

Smart design

Smart design stays clear of shock mounting fastener and uses existing mounting holes on the shocks bottom bracket. Plenty of holes to drain water.
Hope the three fastener shear strength is sufficient for rock crawling impacts.

Excellent Quality

These are very nicely made, Heavy Duty pieces. .25" thick laser cut and press formed, with very nice welds. I don't think that there is any other shock skid on the market right now for the Bronco, that can hold a candle to these.

Why next venture?

parts inspired by the trail

Our team got into the game after rock crawling, wrenching, fabricating and being inspired to design and build parts for what we love to do: hit the trail.
