JLU Rear Corner Armor — Stealth Fuel Door (Ultimate Coverage + Hidden Fuel Access)
This is the ultimate evolution of our JLU rear corner armor — built for maximum coverage, strength, and a cleaner look.
From the outside, it looks like our full aluminum corner armor, but the driver-side fuel filler access is relocated and hidden behind the driver-side tail lamp. That means no giant factory fuel-door cutout in a high-impact area, a stronger corner, and a sleek rear quarter that looks finished from every angle. The fuel filler makes a clean 90-degree twist, clears standard gas-station nozzles, and opens with a tactile magnetic pop-latch and spring-loaded hinge that’s satisfying every time you use it. I’ve been driving it, filling it up, and it works beautifully.
This isn’t for stretching wheelbase or extreme body trimming — it’s for anyone who wants the cleanest, best-fitting, most trail-ready JLU corner armor we can build.
Why the Stealth Fuel Door is better

Eliminating the factory fuel-door opening removes a major weak point. More continuous material means more strength where corners get used the hardest.
More coverage where it matters
This kit provides true full-corner coverage and reaches higher on the body in the rear — right where you drag, pivot, and bump the Jeep on ledges and tight obstacles.
Clean fueling, zero drama
Fuel access is hidden behind the driver-side tail lamp with an easy 90-degree filler angle. The latch/hinge setup is simple, proven, and clears standard pump nozzles.
Best-fit construction
Made from 3/16-inch aluminum with internal gusseting for real-world abuse. Installation requires drilling and rivnuts like any serious armor — done right, it fits tight and stays tight.
Tail lights included — DOT approved with side markers
This kit includes ORO round LED tail lights, because that’s what ties the system together. These lights are DOT approved, include side markers, and are fully compatible with street use — keeping this setup 50-state legal when installed as intended.
