Looking to mount up 40" or larger tires on your JL? We designed this fender liner specifically to match our 40"+ Steel brackets (which are INCLUDED) that tie everything in the body back together after you do trimming to maximize clearance. Don't want to do any trimming? Check out our standard Rear Inner Fender Liners here!
The factory black plastic "splash guards" you'll find in the wheel openings of your JL can leave a bit to be desired. Our new rear inner fender liners can be installed with factory fender flares, our JL Rear Fender deletes and are also compatible with our JL Rear High Line Fender Flares!
Our rear fender liners are laser cut in house from 0.09" thick 5052 Aluminum - which means they are 30% thicker than most 0.06" (16 Gauge) liners on the market, offering a bit more rigidity.
We have been collecting 3D scan data from multiple Jeeps over the past couple of years. This has allowed to CAD design these rear inner fender liners to fit with shocks from factory to aftermarket big body shocks with multiple bypasses with reservoirs; using factory mounts or even the relocated and extended shock/coilover mounts from Rock Crawler Suspension. The short of list of compatible shocks include factory, ADS, Bilstein, King, Falcon, Fox, and Rock Krawler/RRD Shocks. There are always new shock configurations coming out for the ever popular JL platform, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out to us and ask if another new option fits!
The Jeep Wrangler 4xE has additional lines on the rear passenger side leading to the evap canister just in front of the tail lamp; and these extra components are routed through the wheel well where this liner is installed. We have confirmed with a test fit that these DO work without modification on the 4xE PHEV models!
Above: A "Willys" trim JL flexing out with the rear inners installed. This JL is equipped with the narrow JL "Sport" axles, and wheel spacers. Some trimming may be required with narrow/Non-Rubicon axles in applications with little to no lift, due to the narrow axle width.
These are designed for maximum up-travel, however they are designed with Rubicon width tires/wheels in mind. If you are running JL "Sport"/Non-Rubicon width axles, either additional offset or some trimming may be required to clear the rear tires at full stuff.
If you are running Rubicon width or even wider axles, clearance is typically increased between the tire and inner fender liner, and should result in no rubbing and no modifications required.

Our team got into the game after rock crawling, wrenching, fabricating and being inspired to design and build parts for what we love to do: hit the trail.
